Geocaching
Yesterday we went geocaching. For those among you who do know what that is, skip this: Geocaching is the modern name for a treasure hunt. Using GPS you navigate to so called waypoints, where clues are left and coordinates to the next waypoint can be found.
We did this trip called “The Fool of Doddendael”. Doddendael is the name of a small castle in Ewijk. And we did this as part of our weekly tv program. In the summer time we try to make reports that have nothing to do with the news of the day. This was, and I am proud to say it, my idea and it worked out great. I think it is one of the best pieces I’ve made in the last year. I didn’t do it alone of course, Stefan ten Teije, Lotte Bakker, Marleen Lever where the three subjects of this recording. Bram Snaphaan did the camerawork, and Remco Egging helped us find our way as the geocaching expert! I’ve did the graphics and the editing. It took me about 10 hours to make the leader, the end-credits and the editing of the whole! But it was worth it! So, now I hope many people will see it!
